If your pet is microchipped through the company Save This Life,

you may need to re-register your pet’s microchip.

Though the details of the issue are still unconfirmed, Save This Life may be permanently closed, and it was removed from the American Animal Hospital Association’s Microchip Registry Lookup tool last month. The implanted chips are still functional, but can no longer be searched for in the registry.

If your pet has a Save This Life microchip, please contact your veterinarian to see if you need to re-register with a different company.
